It was founded by a group of industry veterans who had helped to build successful busi- nesses in the Enterprise Soft- ware and Payroll/HR Services markets at ADP, Oracle, Hewl- ett-Packard and OneClickHR. The team recognised the rapidly increasing demand by multinational companies for integrated global payroll solu- tions tomanage their local pay- roll operations more effectively, but also saw the fundamental flaws in the previous model. Payzaar is the first open platform for global payroll. The platform is provided on a white la- bel basis, fromoriginations through to customer service and collections. It bills itself as “digital car finance in a box”. Over the past year, it has raised €1 million in seed funding, launched a mini- mumviable product (MVP) under Peeled Finance brand, secured its first lending part- ner, and was the first con- sumer finance business to launch open banking in Ire- land. In the coming months it will launchwith its first brand partner in Ireland, and foresees British entry in Q2 2020 and a series A funding round in Q4 2020.
